Feeding Directions:
Feed RANCHER’S CHOICE® 20% All-Species (No Selenium) Cooked Molasses Tub free-choice to horses, sheep, goats, cattle, and bison on pasture or roughage rations. Make sure animals have adequate pasture or roughage available and are not starved for salt or minerals. Feed continuously. Recommended consumption is 0.50 to 1.25 pounds per head per day for cattle, horses, and bison, and 1 to 5 ounces per head per day for sheep and goats. Consumption will vary according to the weight of the animal and the quality and amount of available forage. Management of the number and location of the tubs may be required to achieve target intakes. Increase the number of tubs and move tubs closer to water or loafing areas to increase intake. Decrease the number of tubs or move farther from water or loafing areas to decrease intake. Provide at least one tub for every 15 to 20 animals. Test your forages to determine the actual supplementation needs of your animals. Consumption over or under the recommended levels may be adequate based on nutrient needs.
CAUTION: Care should be taken to minimize additional copper from forage, water, or other feeds available to sheep. Use only as directed. Feeding selenium at levels in excess of 0.3 ppm in the total diet is prohibited. All multi-species feeds leave nutritional gaps due to differences in the nutritional requirements of each species. When feeding this feed, or any other multi-species feed, it is recommended that a species-specific mineral supplement be fed.
