CAUTION: Consumption of this product by sheep and goats may result in copper toxicity. Feeding selenium at levels in excess of 0.3 ppm in the total diet is prohibited. Use only as directed.
Feeding Instructions:
Feed RANCHER’S CHOICE® Availa®-4 Mineral Lick Cooked Molasses Tub free-choice to beef cattle on pasture or roughage rations. Make sure animals have adequate pasture or roughage available and are not starved for salt or minerals. Feed continuously. Recommended consumption is 0.25 to 0.50 pounds per head per day. A two-week adaption period may be required to establish a base consumption. Consumption of RANCHER’S CHOICE® Availa®-4 Mineral Lick Cooked Molasses Tub will vary according to the weight of the animal and the quality and amount of available forage. Management of the number and location of the tubs by the producer may be required to achieve target intakes. Increase the number of tubs and move tubs closer to water or loafing areas to increase intake. Decrease the number of tubs or move farther from water or loafing areas to decrease intake. Consumption of 0.50 pounds per head per day will provide 7 grams of Availa®-4. Provide at least one tub for every 15 to 20 animals.
